Archie is a lovely young dog and a grandson of my much-missed Wilson. Like Wilson, he has a particularly kind temperament and an excellent nose.
He has had his first experience of picking up last season alongside the rest of my dogs and has taken to it well. He particularly enjoys water work and is very good at taking runners.
He is still a young dog and has plenty of maturing to do. Archie is tall and athletic rather than heavy built, with a good amount of natural ability, and I am looking forward to spending more time training with him as he develops.
For now, I’m enjoying watching him grow into himself and seeing what he can do. He is a lovely dog to have around and I’m excited to see where his working career takes him.
