Fly is a dog who joined me in the summer of 2025, and I was really pleased with the opportunity to bring him into the Fyrish team.

I introduced him to picking up gradually, starting with some smaller days so that he could gain experience before becoming a full-time member of the team. He has taken to the work extremely well and has proved himself to be a natural game finder, with a soft mouth and a genuine willingness to work.

He is a strong, well built dog who carries excellent condition and has the stamina and work ethic I want to see in a working Labrador. Away from work, he is a very kind and affectionate dog and incredibly easy to have around.

Fly is also an exceptionally social dog. He is great with children and other animals and has fitted very easily into everyday life here. He genuinely enjoys training and is a dog I find very rewarding to work with

Fly has a current clear BVA eye certificate and has been Embark tested, with clear results for the main Labrador conditions, including:

* PRA
* CNM
* SD2
* EIC
* HPNK
* Stargardt
* MCD
* Copper Storage

His full Embark results and certificates are available on request.
